Club Demonstrations & Workshops
PBS brings in some of the top artists in the US to visit and share their knowledge with our members.
Demonstrations - Live demonstrations will provide insight that can not be gained from books or on-line videos. Demonstrations are FREE to Club members.
Workshops - there is nothing that replaces hands on experience with your tree. Several Workshops are offered throughout the year for ALL club members.

Existing members are a great source for local knowledge and members are more than willing to help.
To bonsai-newcomers the volume of information is daunting, but with the help of a mentor new practitioners can understand and apply techniques to the care of their own trees without feeling overwhelmed.
Club meetings provide an opportunity to meet other people in your area that will share the same interests and have intimate knowledge of our local climate and species to use specific for our area.
Meet with you Buddy on on one or meet with other members in a small group. The best way to learn is with help from others with a hands on approach!

PBS has been proud to Exhibit at the PHS Flower Show.
As a Club member you have direct access to potentially exhibiting in the show.
A staple in Philadelphia since 1829, this is the nation’s longest running horticultural event & typically draws more than 250,000 people to Philadelphia every year.

PBS members have access to to discounts all around the Bonsai Community. Local Bonsai Nurseries, On Line Stores, and more.
Discounted Workshops - Discounted Workshops - typically workshops are going to cost you more than hundred dollars - sometimes much, much, more. Our Club offers workshops at very affordable rates - will vary depending on the artist.
Club Auctions - you can purchase trees, tools, pots and other related Bonsai items at well under their values at Club auctions which are held a couple of times a year!
