The Pennsylvania Bonsai Society (PBS) was founded on May 3, 1963, making it one of the pioneering bonsai organizations on the East Coast and one of the oldest bonsai societies in the United States.
We are dedicated to helping bonsai enthusiasts discover the art of bonsai, develop their skills, and deepen their appreciation for this rewarding art form. Our meetings are open to the public, and we welcome people of all experience levels.

Bonsai Buddy Program
PBS prides itself in having experienced practitioners willing to help other members. The Bonsai Buddy program started in the Spring of 2022 and many members have been enjoying having a Buddy. The Bonsai Buddy program is open to all PBS members.
